Pharmacists are medication experts, providing patient care in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, community pharmacies, long-term care and physician offices, among others. At some point in time during the pandemic, other professionals closed their doors to patients, but community pharmacies remained opened to the general public, no matter the extent of restrictions during lockdowns.
